Tonight at our third YA Connected evening for youn Tonight at our third YA Connected evening for young adults we looked at the subject of knowing and understanding God. Not simply knowledge, but to know and be acquainted with Him. . Two key verses were: . “For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.” ‭‭II Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ . and… . “But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the Lord.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭9‬:‭24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ . It was great to see those of you who made it along, and for those who couldn’t be with us, we missed you. It’s early days for this new gathering but we’re excited to see where it leads over the next few months and can’t wait to meet more people from the area in this 18-28ish age range looking to make connections with like minded people. It’s week three of our YA Connected gathering for It’s week three of our YA Connected gathering for young adults and we’ve been so encouraged by how it’s gone so far. We’re not aiming for complex and organised gatherings, just time each week to be social and look at scripture together over a drink. If you’re in a church lacking people your age, or struggling to build friendships with other christians where you are, you’re very welcome to join us Wednesday evenings from 7-9PM in Tuckton Bournemouth. - For more information on what to expect, time and place etc, please visit our webpage linked in our bio. Tonight was the second YA Connected gathering and Tonight was the second YA Connected gathering and after a nice time spent outside enjoying the solar eclipse together, we looked at John 15. We discussed what it means to abide in the vine, and looked at the goodness of God and how he cares for us, tends to the vine and lifts us up. Somehow it felt peaceful tonight. Great to spend time with you all. For those of you who didn’t make it tonight, we missed you. Hope to see you next week, . Tonight at the first YA Connected we were so pleas Tonight at the first YA Connected we were so pleased to have nine people turn up and what a great bunch you all are. We hope to see you all again soon so that we can get to know each other more. Same time same place next week. Wednesday evenings 7PM. . We looked at the subject of Jesus the Light of the world, and how we too are His light, called to shine brightly and what that means in practice. . We also looked at how we can be an example to others irrespective of age. It was an encouraging evening all round. . Thanks again all, see you soon!

What is ‘YA Connected’? YA simply stands for Young Adults. At YA we’re making space for young adults looking to build friendships and make new connections with other Christians in the area. If perhaps your church doesn’t have many people your age, or you just want to meet other like minded people, you’re welcome. - What do we do at YA Connected? Apart from plenty of time to socialise and get to know each other, our evenings will include a short word from the bible, an opportunity to pray for each other and some acoustic worship. We’ll also have some snacks and drinks available. - What age range can attend? We’ve set an age range of 18-28 (ish). If you’re just outside of this age range but still have an interest in coming along, then please feel free to contact us by email. - Where and when will we meet? Our base for meeting will be at Tuckton Christian Centre in Bournemouth. They have kindly made their facilities available to us. Whilst the weather is good, we may relocate to Southbourne beach, or go down by the river. A very unexpected mix of wonderful people arrived at our worship night, a night that was a bit different to normal, but special. Tonight’s Back to Basics Worship Night marked the Tonight’s Back to Basics Worship Night marked the first anniversary of this journey of faith. One year ago at our first gathering a lady called Rosa came forward for prayer and it was later confirmed that she was miraculously healed that night from diabetes! It was so good to hear her testimony this evening one year on. You can read it on our website. Link in bio. Jesus still heals today. . We’re pretty quick at getting things set up these days as you can see in our timelapse taken earlier today. It’s a simple setup. No fuss, just simplicity that frees us to focus on what it’s all about…Jesus. . We’ve loved gathering with so many people over this past year. Tonight was our last gathering for 2025 as we make room for Christmas events to take over in the weeks that lie ahead. . To all of you that have attended one, some, or all of these worship nights, thank you! We trust you have been helped, encouraged and built up and we pray you carry something from it back to wherever you worship on a Sunday. . 2026 will be here soon enough and we look forward to our next Worship Night on Saturday 10th January! Side note - my chosen track with this post is ‘You Deserve The Applause’ by @martinsmithtv which is of course acknowledging Jesus for who He is to us. The track name kind of got our attention and then we remembered the awesome guitar solo on that recording by @stugio and it just had to be the section to attach to this post on the topic of a worship event. Tonight’s Back to Basics Worship Night marked the Tonight’s Back to Basics Worship Night marked the first anniversary of this journey of faith. One year ago at our first gathering a lady called Rosa came forward for prayer and it was later confirmed that she was miraculously healed that night from diabetes! It was so good to hear her testimony this evening one year on. You can read it on our website. Link in bio. Jesus still heals today. . We’re pretty quick at getting things set up these days as you can see in our timelapse taken earlier today. It’s a simple setup. No fuss, just simplicity that frees us to focus on what it’s all about…Jesus. . We’ve loved gathering with so many people over this past year. Tonight was our last gathering for 2025 as we make room for Christmas events to take over in the weeks that lie ahead. . To all of you that have attended one, some, or all of these worship nights, thank you!
